By accessing or using App Bento ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting a notice on our website or sending an email. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

2. Description of Service

App Bento is a web-based dashboard application that allows users to organize, store, and access their favorite web applications and links. The Service includes:

  • Personal dashboard creation and customization
  • Cloud synchronization across devices
  • Category and bento organization
  • Data export capabilities
  • Team collaboration features (on applicable plans)

3. User Accounts

Account Creation

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain and update your information as needed
  • Keep your password secure and confidential
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion.

4. Subscription Plans and Payment

Free Plan

The Free plan provides limited access to our Service at no cost. Free plan limitations are described on our pricing page.

Paid Plans

Paid subscriptions (Pro and Team) provide additional features and higher limits. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to:

  • Pay all applicable fees as described at the time of purchase
  • Provide valid payment information
  • Authorize recurring charges for subscription renewals

Billing and Cancellation

  • Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
  • We do not provide prorated refunds for partial billing periods
  • Upon cancellation, your account will revert to the Free plan

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
  • Store or share illegal, harmful, or offensive content
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other accounts
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Use automated means to access the Service without permission
  • Collect or harvest user data without consent
  • Engage in any activity that could harm the Service or other users

6. User Content

Ownership

You retain ownership of all content you add to your dashboard, including links, categories, and organizational data ("User Content").

License

By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

Responsibility

You are solely responsible for your User Content. We do not endorse or guarantee the accuracy of any links or content stored in your dashboard.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and content (excluding User Content), is owned by App Bento and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not:

  • Copy, modify, or distribute our Service without permission
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
  • Use our trademarks without written consent
  • Create derivative works based on our Service

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

  • ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, OR AVAILABILITY
  • UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION
  • SECURITY OF DATA OR INFORMATION

We do not guarantee that the Service will meet your requirements or expectations.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, APP BENTO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Loss of data or content
  • Loss of profits or revenue
  • Business interruption
  • Personal injury or property damage

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless App Bento, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third-party rights
  • Your User Content

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and App Bento regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements.
